Methven Trotting Club Methven Trotting Club are racing again on the Sunday 9th October. The highlights of the meeting are the Group 3 Methven Cup and the Pegasus Spur Trotbred combo. The Trotbred combo has stakes of $13,000 for trotting fillies and mares (1 win and above). With Intent - bred by Denis and Denise Nyhan, took out honours in the inaguaral event (2009) and Waihiemo Sam bred by Ken & Karen Hannah along with Lee Chappell won in 2010.
